Our Motorcycle Track Day Curriculum

When we began back in 2000, Fishtail Riding School wasn’t a school at all: it was simply a group of friends riding together. As time went on, however, we started to use the time between sessions to hold classroom activities covering the basics of riding a motorcycle. Our attendees thought it was a great idea and every year the academics have become more refined and formalized into a regular school.

Over the last nine years we’ve learned what works and what doesn’t. Our academics are presented in a simple, easy to understand format that allows you to focus on only a few things at a time. After each classroom session, you will back to the track and work on the new techniques. We always have instructors circulating on track to offer you as much or as little help as you want. Once back in the classroom, we have a brief review and then introduce you to a new skill.

Class sizes are limited so that we can keep the instructor-to-student ratio low. The small class size also means the track is less crowded, allowing you more freedom to ride at your pace.
