Many of you already know Robbie as the man behind Peach Pit Painting LTD, a motorcycle body work and painting company. If you’re not familiar with his work, here’s the bottom line: when you need your machine to look way better than the factory ever dreamed of, take it to Robbie. A high percentage of the bikes that show for our track schools are wearing a Peach Pit paint job.
Robbie is not just another pretty face (actually, he’s not a pretty face, period). He’s our resident fast guy, having won a number of championships at NHMS and multiple #1 plates nationally in vintage and AAMRR racing. We do our best to limit his coffee intake in the morning, but we can only do so much. After his 8th cup, it safest to just stand clear. To see some of Robbie’s work, check out his Facebook page.
I used to fly airplanes for a living, but I had to quit when aliens took up permanent residence in my sinuses. Now I’m a campus minister with InterVarsity at the University of New Hampshire working with the athletes and the ROTC cadets. Because I’m on a scholastic schedule, I get lots of time to play with motorcycles during the summer. Robbie makes me do the classroom thing mainly because he doesn’t trust me on a motorcycle (honestly, I can’t blame him). Plus it’s my laptop. And he doesn’t know the password.
And yes, in case you’re wondering, I am holding a flying bed pan in the picture above.
